**1. [[O Murray]] thinks that [[MacDaniel]] is the wrong person to lead Counterpoint these nights. You’re inclined to agree, but while [[O Murray]] thinks that Counterpoint needs to back off, that MacDaniel is playing it too risky, you’ve been worried that MacDaniel doesn’t have the steel he needs to get this job done. You’re concerned that the first chance he gets, he’ll sell out the revolution and throw his weight behind Patience, or one of the other candidates. But [[O Murray]], they seem to genuinely understand what it takes to run a city. If anyone is going to be Prince…Do what you need to force [[O Murray]] to understand what’s needed from them. If that means running their entire campaign for them behind their back, so be it.
2. The Tremere are always making noise about having ‘dominance’ of magic - now the Prince is burned alive and locked up in a diamond box. Are we supposed to pretend that wasn’t magic? You don’t know if the Tremere are who killed the Prince, and you don’t really care. This is an opportunity to humiliate the only clan with as much of a stick up their ass as the Ventrue.
3. If the Prince’s killer is never found, that presents a lot of opportunities down the road. Unpopular policies might become necessary ‘to make sure the killer doesn’t strike again’. Do what you can to sabotage the efforts looking into catching the killer - its not like they’ll ‘unkill’ the Prince by solving this, right?**
