Pack: [[Exculpation]]
Item: Grimoire
## Character Notes
You just love killing. You're like a trapdoor spider in -vaguely- human form. It's not even about the hunger for you, though you know [[E Spencer (Ductus)]]'s every thought and action are dominated by it. No, you just enjoy the moment when life is snuffed out by your hand. Maybe that makes you a monster, but if so, you're in the right place for it.
You've managed to keep yourself in the Sabbat's good graces by generally following along with what the rest of Exculpation does. The ones you're allowed to kill, you kill in public. The ones you're not allowed to kill, you kill in private. [[E Spencer (Ductus)]] does a good job of putting you in the places you need to be to do the most killing, so you don't tend to mind them calling the shots.
## Character Secrets
You are a heretic.
You, along with the rest of pack Exculpation, spent months hunting the Inquisitors of [[Reasonable Doubt]]. You did it because you love killing, and you figured this would be one of the most significant murders since the time one brother killed another with a rock and started this whole shitshow. For months, you hunted them through town and forest, over rivers and mountains until, finally, you caught wind of them in the proximity of Megged's Hill.
When you and your packmates arrived, it was just after an epic battle between the vampires of Reasonable Doubt, and an army of infernal cultists. There were more than a dozen dead vampires, and hundreds of mortal corpses. The Inquisitors, exhausted as they were from the titanic struggle, were still nearly more than your pack could manage. You managed to tear one of them limb from limb, and you're still living in the glow of that moment.
You retreated into the mountains with your packmates to recover from the fight, and were just about to leave when word came that there were more vampires in the area. A lot more, in fact. Seven packs were coming to the town of Megged's Hill, apparently to investigate the infernal ritual which took place. Or, as some rumors held, to perform infernal rituals of their own. It wouldn't have interested you much if not for the fact that Reasonable Doubt, the same pack of Inquisitors you helped wipe out, are apparently all going to be in attendance.
When you ambushed the Inquisitors, you took a few trophies, including a seriously freaky-looking grimoire. You don't really know a whole lot about infernalism. You've never figured out how to drink a demon's blood, so you don't have much interest in them. What you do know is that [[G Willis]] of [[Kangaroo]] has been hunting for just such a grimoire, and they may be willing to pay handsomely for it.
## Character Goals
You love killing, and [[X Klein]] of [[Habeas Corpus]] has always been great about giving you targets. Every once in a while, they drop you a line that, if some particularly difficult vampire were to turn up missing, no one would look all that much into it. When you get those messages, you pack your stuff up and go a-hunting. The results are always worth the effort, which is why you keep working with them.
Now, you wonder if Klein might not be able to help you find out what's going on with Reasonable Doubt. They're always a good person to go to for information, and their pack is in tight with most of the big wigs of the Sabbat. Your goal is to convince Klein and their packmates to look into Reasonable Doubt and, if all else fails, to take you on if your Ductus gets hit with a Heresy charge. You'll probably have to prove your worth, but hey, everybody needs somebody dead, sometimes.
