## Profile **Head of Records and Prophecies** In Abrahamic texts there are two witnesses, who are the "two olive trees and the two lampstands," that have the power to destroy their enemies, control the weather, and cause plagues. This description may be symbolism, allegory, or literal. Even you do not know for certain, but you and [[Conventions/PAX Unplugged/PAX 2023/Danced With the Devil/The Vespera Family/P Frances|P Frances]] have suspected that this prophecy is the reason that the two of you were cast from Heaven all those millennia ago. While you wait to find out if this is the case, you have occupied yourself running Eschaton Limited's "Prophecy and Records" division - it has been a pleasant diversion as you await the fulfillment of your Holy Purpose, to tease out the truth from the muddled accounts of drug addled prophets. You are not terribly concerned with what Eschaton does with your work - all will be as it is meant to be in the end, after all, and in any case, finding truth in history and putting records in order can hardly be anything but an objective good. ## Ambition You have heard rumor that [[Conventions/PAX Unplugged/PAX 2023/Danced With the Devil/The Thorneblood Family/L Thorneblood|L Thorneblood]] purports to hold a ritual drawn from a secret biblical text, a ritual that will make your Purpose on this earth clear. That a spawn of hell should claim such a thing is intolerable - that they might be right is even worse. You are unconcerned with whether the ritual is performed or not, for whatever happens, you know that All Will Be As It Is Meant To Be, but the ritual ought not remain in a devil's hands, and your Purpose ought not be known by its ilk. Put this matter to rights, find a way to get that demon exorcised. ## Claim Debts and promises are the natural order of the world, and you cannot abide a breaking of the natural order of things. The universe has witnessed your devotion to the natural order, and rewarded it. **Anytime another player fails to follow through on a deal or promise they have made with you, you may claim one Karma from them.** This applies to informal promises and agreements as well as formal oaths. ## Wyrd There is one place where your nature conflicts with your responsibilities - the spread of knowledge is a Good and Right thing in the world. Unfortunately, you are aware that those you work with are rather *intense* about their secrets remaining secret. **Anytime you are asked about confidential information on Eschaton Limited's operations, you must pay a Karma to the player asking in order to resist the urge to answer them.**
