## Profile
**You are the head of the Caelum family.**
You have been studying the fae for...well, a while. After visiting their realms as often as you have, time and age become pretty fluid ideas. You've dined with the Count of Sudden Springs and danced with the Duchess of Poisoned Apples, and once heard three secrets whispered from the mouth of the Joyless Captain. The knowledge you've learned and the powers you've claimed allowed you to found the Caelum Family, a lineage of mages with power unimagined by even the greatest circles of this world. That's not to say there's been no price - you find yourself getting rather uncomfortable around iron, and sometimes struggle with the idea of lying. Now, having returned from your most recent trip to the Fair Folk, you stand again in the mortal world, in a room of people with hidden agendas, dark secrets, and terrible ambitions. It's like you never left.
## Ambition
You want to win. You've made ancient deals that rely on this - you know that once, long ago, the Earth threatened to collapse into Arcadia. This feat can be repeated, and if it is then you'll be there to push it over the edge and become a Titled Fae, shedding your humanity at long last. You understand this game that the Casino has set, and can see the pitfalls inherent to it - while everyone else is running around trying to collect the *most* Karma, you will guide your Family with two goals - to Claim Karma from *every* other faction in equal part, and to spread your own Karma to every other faction. Once they hold your power and you hold theirs, your ritual may begin. You estimate that, so long as every family holds Karma originating from the Caelum, fifteen Karma from each society in your own family's hands will be sufficient to begin your rite.
You think you will have an ally in [[Conventions/PAX Unplugged/PAX 2023/Danced With the Devil/The Thorneblood Family/P Thorneblood|P Thorneblood]] in this - you have long suspected that they originate from a distant Fae realm, and so may be better inclined to your vision of the Apocalypse than their own family's.
## Claim
You are a traditionalist, and have studied the fae so closely that it is possible you have more in common with them than the rest of these 'ordinary' humans. As such, you know that there is only one appropriate way to Take something - by asking for it. Of course, it is hardly your fault if someone doesn't understand what exactly you're asking for, is it? I mean, if someone cannot understand the distinction between the questions 'What is your name?' and 'May I have your name?' then what right do they have to *keep* that name? **Any time a player agrees to give you a part of themselves (e.g., name, attention, hand), you may claim one Karma from them.**
## Wyrd
The fae may play games with words, but they never break them. After so much time studying their ways, you are similarly constrained. **You must pay a Karma to any player that you knowingly lie to.**
