## Profile
You've had a lot of different jobs and done a lot of different work, but the title you use is Private Detective. At least that’s what it says on your door. You’ve done a brisk bit of business in the past. Folks would hire you and you’d produce results for them. Maybe it was to track a cheating spouse, or maybe it was to get some dirt dredged up on an employer, it didn’t really matter much to you as long as your client’s check cleared. That all changed, though, when that damn [[H Thorneblood]] walked through your door.
It was a dismal, thick kind of evening when H Thorneblood walked in. They wore a white button-down shirt and jeans so tight that it looked like they were poured into them and forgot to say “when.” You knew as soon as you laid eyes on them that they were trouble, you just didn’t yet know how much. It was that night your entire world shifted on its axis, and it’s been spinning off the rails ever since. You've never spoken of that night since - you doubt they even remember you anymore, but you discovered an entire new world.
## Ambition
You're here for answers. That's all you've ever wanted. You feel a little rush of joy every time you tease out another thread or find a new question in need of solving. You're in a room filled with questions now, and you've never known a sweeter prize than this. It's almost hard for you to remember that there's anything at stake - all you want, for the rest of your life - hell, the rest of the world - is to solve the puzzle of these people. Listen in on their conversations, question them, chase down every lead and snatch up every secret. What purer joy could there be?
## Claim
Nearly every death in history can be attributed to someone knowing something they shouldn't, and that makes you a merchant of death. There's no better description of a PI than someone who takes secrets and moves them around - helping some, probably hurting more. In this room, you imagine every secret you find will be measured in blood. **Anytime you inform a player of *another* player's Claim or Wyrd, you may claim a Karma from the player you are informing.**
## Wyrd
This game only works so long as you look like the most informed person in the room. Yeah, you need informants, but every informant you have is another person with leverage over you, someone else you have to track and mind and pay off. **Anytime a player informs you about another player's Claim or Wyrd, you must pay your informant one Karma.**
