Name: C
Holding: [[Sekpoli]]
Office: [[Knight]]
## Background
You were born to be a sacrifice. Your home world of Sekpoli was once a calm and beautiful world, sometimes held up as the natural birthplace of humanity. It lacks the lush, artificial perfection of paradise worlds, making it one of the few places in the galaxy that seems naturally fit for human habitation. Unfortunately the Sekpoli that you were born to teeters on a knife's edge. Between the measuring eyes and grasping hands of the Great Houses and the endless war fought between the Red and Blue Stations in your sky, Sekpoli has been in either a state of active or subdued crisis for your entire existence. These crises are, in fact, the *reason* for your existence. There are some knights who are trained to defend their home or to claim glory on its behalf; you were chosen to be sacrificed for it. You fantasized of grand battles, a doomed charge against the warmongers in the heavens, fighting till your last breath to buy your people time to escape doomsday. You feared being handed a knife and a name, being told that for your home to remain free someone must die, and you must take the blame. Whichever it would be, your fate has never been in question. Sekpoli is in crisis, and you must save her.
The death of the Plaguesmith is the end of every plan, the herald of apocalypse for your people and the doom of your home. You might have been an acceptable sacrifice after the assassination of a governor, or the rogue element responsible for terror attacks, but there is no power great or small that will believe you struck down one of Her Majesty's favorites. Now Her vengeance will descend, and you are not innocent enough to believe it will only fall on the deserving. Your home world falls too close to this Council for it to be spared - untold lives and worlds will be snuffed out because Her will was defied. You have only two hopes - convince the Council of the doom that comes for all of them, that they might stand together and find a means of forestalling it...or else find a way to convince the Galaxy that a humble Knight slew one of the greatest monsters in recorded history.
## Mechanics
### **Asset: [[Cohen's Legacy]]**
You are not a warrior in the way that a soldier is a warrior. Nor are you a warrior in the way that a duelist is a warrior. You are a warrior in the way a bonfire is a source of warmth. Those who stand against you do not stand for long, or ever again. In any [[Combat#Local|Local Combat Scenario]], you are able to remove one advantage from the opposing side for each participant who is vulnerable to this Asset. All characters are vulnerable to this Asset **unless** they possess [[Close Quarters Chaos]] or another Asset or Quirk which explicitly removes this vulnerability.
### **Lien: [[Raze the Sun|Raze the Sun]]**
What's the point of fighting soldiers when you never lose? When you can't even consider it a meaningful challenge? There are many powers in the galaxy which are beneath you, and many which are beyond you, but surprisingly few which are a decent fight with a chance for learning and growth. Whether it's alone or as part of a group, you are obsessed with finding and challenging someone (or something) to a worthwhile fight. If you are forced to walk away from a fight, or refuse the chance for one, you become irrationally angry or despondent (player's choice).
