## Profile
**Corporate Role: Research and Development**
If you aren't pushing ahead, you're standing still, and stillness is death in this universe. There are always competitors nipping at your heels; rivals hunting for even the smallest vulnerability. Any corporate entity not perpetually reinventing itself will fall by the wayside. It will become a fossil, a cautionary tale of what not to do in today’s business world. With the threat of irrelevance behind every corner, the cover ups, illegal trials (almost always animal), and disposal of whistleblowers become a trivial price to pay. You have driven Eschaton to new heights - overseen arms races in your laboratories as you develop new drugs and new drug resistant diseases. Your research has cut down dozens of would-be contenders, whether by driving them out of the market or inventing entirely new forms of corporate espionage to burn them out at the root. It has been by your work, and yours alone, that Eschaton has reached its present stature.
## Ambition
You're here because it's the next step of the job, and that's all. The others talk about scores to settle, proving they're the best - and that's how you know that you're the true professional among them. You aren't here to *beat* the other societies, you're just here to win. The plan is this - be quick and be ruthless. While the other societies are gathering their senses, you'll organize your group to meet with the leaders of every other society and begin assessing them for weaknesses. You already have a promising lead - one of your people in the Arcadian Office made contact to let you know that it is well known among the fae that [[Conventions/PAX Unplugged/PAX 2024/Danced With the Devil/The Caelum Family/C Caelum|C Caelum]] - head of the family - is incapable of lying. That should give you the edge in negotiations with them.
