## Profile Your "Satanic Companion™ -- a title you legally copyrighted and frequently sue over-- is your best friend. You've never actually hung out with them per se, and they may be a hellbeast who owns your soul, but they always make sure you get VIP treatment at the best clubs, backstage passes to your favorite bands and a spotlight wherever you step.  And, really, isn't that what friendship is all about? This relationship has made you the the de facto 'First Among Equals' in Pyrebane, a title which carries with it the ability to change water into Pabst Blue Ribbon. You love feeling like the most important person in the room, and find yourself becoming anxious and uncomfortable when everything isn't about you. Amongst normal people that's not really a problem, but amongst other powerful sects, it always seems to be a harder task. ## Ambition But fuck them. You're a star, and you intend to make sure you burn the brightest as the world ends. After all, you're the only one capable of unleashing Pyrebane's big finish, an honor you secured by sneaking into the library, memorizing the ritual and then setting it on fire. You've made sure that it will only be unleashed when *you* decide its time. That's crucial, because you see the real game that will be played here. While the other societies are running around collecting Karma, you'll focus on poaching their actual members! After all, how hard should it be to convince the rank and file that Pyrebane's eternal party is better than whatever second rate hell their bosses have cooked up? ## Claim Any fool can make a scene-- that’s easy. But attention gained from the empty substance of shouting or long-winded ramblings is cheap and easily lost. To truly own a room, you must make everyone in it beg for more; you must offer them entertainment, or secrets or substance...you must *command* attention, not simply take it. **You may claim a Karma from the person closest to you whenever you hold the attention of a large group.** ## Wyrd There’s nothing more embarrassing than making a bid for attention…and being ignored. You’re not really used to it, if you’re being honest. And it is a sensation that you’re not sure you’re well equipped to deal with. **Anytime you are ignored by a group, you must award one Karma to the player standing closest to you.**
