## Profile
Descended from one of the most wealthy and powerful families associated with the Catholic Church, P Medici was the proverbial head of the table for the Vespera Family for decades. An authority in multiple fields, including linguistics, world history, and ancient texts, they were considered the penultimate expert by many powerful individuals the world over regarding occult and apocryphal matters. Their team was world renowned for being the folks to call when things got spooky. That was, UNTIL YOU PUT THAT LITTLE BITCH 6 FEET UNDER, BABY! Now they’re the penultimate expert on worms…and, uh, being dead? Yeah being dead. You are the leader of a pack of ghouls that has wiped out the Vespera Family, and assumed their identities and personalities. Your family has always been condemned to the worst places in the world, with no secure sources of food or safety in living memory. Now you've slain the hunters who sought to exterminate your kind and are standing in a room with the most powerful people in the world. This is the best chance you'll ever have to matter. What are you going to do with it?
## Ambition
You have named the great Death that you wish to bring into the world - it will be the Lying Death. Your family will grow and spread, slithering their way into every place that was once denied to them and always taking new faces, until nobody will be able to trust the faces of those around them. The hunt will never stop - you will feed and take and change and hunt until you have devoured the entire world. You don't know exactly how this is going to work, but if you're being honest, you don't think anyone else does either. In the end, the fight is always the same - take more than you lose. What you do know is that as the one who named your death, it is your job to release it. There's no great ritual here - all you and your family have is a hunger, and a prayer. It's your decision when you have enough power to feed it.
One thing that might interfere with that is the strange threat you received last night. A raven flew overhead (wisely keeping out of reach of your hands, you were a bit peckish), and croaked out “If this is a trap, know that I will ensure that your entire family tree is barren for the next three centuries. You will learn that you do not trifle with the Thorneblood Family.” Whatever that’s about, you have no idea.
## Claim
Wearing the Vespera's faces is an extremely dangerous bluff - the only reason that anyone will give you respect or consideration is because of the reputation that you have stolen. Now, you do not possess the skill of these hunters, or their greatest weapons, or their knowledge. But their reputation remains valuable to you; possibly the greatest weapon at your disposal. **Anytime a player noticeably reacts to your (stolen) family name, you may claim a Karma from that player.**
## Wyrd
You've been doing this a long time, and in many ways you are a true artist of shapechanging - with one exception. You've never quite managed to get the hands right; there are so many bones and tendons, and placing them correctly is a tricky business. You've gotten into the habit of keeping your hands concealed, as the sight of them tends to give away your appearance. **You must award one Karma to any player who offers to shake your hand.**
