## Profile
You are the heart and soul of Unit 50783, someone whose mind changes as easily and fluidly as their face. Your colleagues might change identity or appearance, but you can change your very Self to serve your agenda. There's no point in trying to capture your true identity - if anyone ever knew what it was, they've long since been buried. No, the only thing that can reasonably be described is who you are today.
In a word? Pissed.
You had a plan for this night. You've had a plan for *decades*. You knew there were others planning to end the world, and that for all of the Unit's scheming, there was every chance they would beat you to the punch. That's why you built the mirror, made out of hellglass you stole from Eschaton and faerie silver bought from the Caelum. You crafted it slowly and with love, whispering lies over its delicate frame. When you were finished, it reflected nothing less than the entire world, complete with every evil impulse and twisted desire. If another faction attempted a ritual it would be caught in the mirror, twisted up in its own reflection and waiting for you to smother it. It was the greatest work of your life; something that would guarantee the Unit's victory.
You've kept a careful lid on this, waited for the moment you could reveal to your colleagues the height of your triumph. You've kept the mirror carefully secured in a vault buried miles beneath the earth, a place nobody can ever access. When the invitation to the Casino arrive you knew it was time, and you walked those empty halls, only to find...nothing. The mirror had been stolen.
## Ambition
You can't understand it. You did everything perfectly. It was secret, it was hidden, and it was secured. It should have been impossible for anyone to *know* about that room, let alone access it! Thankfully you still have the Unit's ritual secure in your own mind, so you'll be able to perform it when your faction is ready; you don't need the mirror for that. But the Unit is vulnerable now in a way you've never seen it - any of the other organizations have a chance at beating you to the punch. You'll need to keep your wits about you - with the ritual in your head, it's up to you to decide when the time is right to perform your rite.
But that should leave some time for an investigation. Whoever stole the mirror has got to be here. You're confident that they won't be able to use it like you would - they can't smother a ritual in its crib. But they're still dangerous, of unparalleled skill, and with your own creation to back them up. Let's not leave that loose end lying around. You might start out by looking into Pyrebane Academy - this mixture of impossible and obnoxious does seem like their style. You hear that [[Conventions/PAX Unplugged/PAX 2024/Danced With the Devil/Pyrebane Academy/T Grey|T Grey]] is running the show over there these days.
## Claim
Deceit is your very nature. Someone once called you two-faced, and you've never been more insulted in your life. You have *thousands* of faces, and all of them are telling a different kind of lie. There is no 'true' face for anyone to discover, just another plot or scheme. **Anytime a player accuses you of lying, you may claim a Karma from them.**
## Wyrd
You know that the thief is in this room, and in order to steal your own possession they must be very talented indeed. You can almost hear their mocking laughter as you hunt them. **Anytime a player mentions mirrors or reflections to you, you must award that player a Karma.**
