Goals:
1. Ensure your Governor's votes pass during the Myriadic Council.
2. Spread worship of Hala to people from other Holdings.
3. Be part of the group that opens the temple.
You are Attaché Shash, "Eerily Competent." You could do without the word "eerily," but if you're honest, you understand where people get it from. It isn't that you're creepy or anything, it's just that you make a habit of taking care of problems before anyone else realizes they exist, which means you often surprise someone by telling them that the thing they just discovered is already handled. You can understand how, from a certain perspective, that might be a bit strange. Still, there's nothing supernatural about it. You don't need to move particularly fast or think particularly deeply. You simply need to start moving at the right moment and think about the right things.
There is more to you, though, than the reigning expert on getting shit done. You became an Attaché, rather than a Diplomat or Negotiator, because you want to spread Halian ideals. [[Hala the Peaceful]], the Wend your people worship as god and savior, fought the Empress for ten thousand years before She broke him and used him as the heart of a new star. From this, your people learned to be resilient, to have faith in the face of the inevitable, and to always bring light to dark places. These are the lessons you seek to spread as far and wide as you possibly can. If everyone already views you as the source of every answer and solution, that makes the work far less difficult.
You've come to the [[Council of Chains]] because Hala told your Governor there's a weapon of some kind, powerful enough to threaten even [[Celestial Empress|Her Majesty]]. You're here to do whatever you need to do in order to ensure your people come out on top, and to spread Hala's noble truths to the nine other Holdings represented here. You also want to see what's inside the temple, if only to know what Hala himself considered worthy of such attention.
## Asset: [[Good Looks and Propaganda]]
People like people they like to look at. You can almost always get a strong sense of local beauty standards by flipping to a weather station, and your ability to manipulate this fact is nearly mythical. By speaking to a Governor for a few minutes, you gain an insight into their Holding's aesthetic standards. Any time you participate in a [[Negotiation]] with that Holding, your side gains three advantages.
## Lien: [[Rule of Cool]]
Fashion certainly has its uses, but it means having to keep track of every shift, every quirk of culture. When another character calls something "cool", "interesting", or any similarly positive adjective, you have a deep-seated need to know exactly why, what they liked about it, and how various changes might impact their opinion. When denied this information, you become irritable and find it difficult to engage in any other topic for a time.
