Goals:
1. Participate in a military engagement, whether on behalf of [[Maw Station]] or as a mercenary.
2. Convince other Holdings' militants to worship the [[Leviathan's Corpse]].
3. Try to sacrifice the thing in the temple to the Leviathan.
You are Auxiliary Telpo, "Sacrifice Incarnate." That nickname has followed you since before you were born. Your parents were both powerful Leviathan Priests, but neither was capable of childbearing. To bring you in to existence, they dropped an antimatter bomb on one of the [[Imperial Bureaucracy|Imperial Bureaucracy's]] hubworlds while the Leviathan was drifting nearby. Their estimates on the energy release were off by a pretty wide margin, which is why you never met them, but when another group of Cultists swept the area, they found a perfectly healthy human baby drifting in the void, fast asleep.
There is more to you, though, than the maybe messiah of a broken god. You were raised on Maw Station without word of your origins being allowed to spread, which means that you had a perfectly normal childhood. For a given value of each of those words. Like many of the People, you grew up to be a soldier. Unlike many of them, you turned out to be a *good* soldier, which saw you named Auxiliary, one of the Holding's militant offices. From time to time, you wonder if you're fated for some higher purpose, but as it is, you're happy as a soldier. After all, many forget that the Republic of the Leviathan itself started as a soldier's cult. Now you think of it, you're not sure where you first learned that.
You've come to the [[Council of Chains]] because the Governor pointed Maw Station this direction, and because the Admiral gave you and the other militants carte blanche to play mercenary. You've also been dreaming about some ancient temple a lot lately, which sounds like it might have something to do with why everyone else is here. Whatever the case, maybe you can convince some of the other militants that following a wild god from a forgotten age is pretty rad, actually.
## Asset: [[Close Quarters Chaos]]
You treat your body not as a temple, but as a tool for causing as much harm as possible. In Local, Regional, or Planetary [[Combat]] scenarios, you add one to your side's advantage total. You do not need the assistance of any other character to participate in non-Fleet Combat Scenarios. You are not considered vulnerable for purposes of the Asset [[Cohen's Legacy]].
## Lien: [[Sworn Sword]]
You have promised your service to your Governor, and to fail in that pursuit is to be remembered as a failure for the rest of time. Any time your Governor is in danger or subject to public attack, you feel compelled to spring to their aid. You don't necessarily have to attack anyone, or even speak up, but if you can't find some way to show your support, you become irritable and despondent for a time, believing yourself to be a failure.
