Goals:
1. Find out what each of the other Holdings hate or fear, and spread that information to your People.
2. Convince citizens of other Holdings that the [[Celestial Empire]] is worse than the [[Leviathan's Corpse]].
3. Strike bargains with the rest of the Myriadic Council to support your Governor's motion.
You are Diplomat Thyrsus, the "Devil's Prosecutor." While the image in the mind of the general public when they think "Leviathan Cultist" is a forty-foot-tall devil armed with a twisted superweapon and a mien of impenetrable darkness, those people would be thinking of your father. You, on the other hand, would blend comfortably into any city center in the [[Celestial Empire]]. For the seventeen thousand or so years of your life (a remarkable longevity by the warlike standards of your people), you've traveled from Holding to Holding, twisting them to the service of your Holding's patron, [[Hierophant]], the only Leviathan Priest ever made a [[Wend]].
There is more to you, though, than an aspiring King in Yellow. You don't do the typical "sidle up to the king and whisper poison while cursing the crops" routine. You show up with research, data, compelling arguments. You walk through your target's current system of government or religion, point out the ways in which it has failed them or is likely to fail them in the future, and use cold reason to sway them toward service of the Leviathan's Corpse. It doesn't work all that often, which is why you've spent a lot of your life on the run, but you'd rather be middlingly successful if it means you don't have to do the whole "building-sized devil" routine. It's passé.
You've come to the [[Council of Chains]] because there will be nine other Holdings represented, all powerful. By a happy coincidence, your historical success rate has hovered right around 10-15%, which means there's a decent shot you can sway at least one Holding here into serving [[Hierophant]] and, through them, the Leviathan's Corpse. Of course, being a Leviathan Cultist doesn't preclude having a day job, so you're also here to provide your Governor diplomatic support.
## Asset: [[Plenipotentiary]]
You often find yourself performing complex negotiations light years away from your Governor. As a result, you get a significantly greater degree of latitude than most Officers. You may enter a [[Negotiation]] without notifying your Governor or receiving their approval, though they will still be notified of any results. Your Governor can revoke this power by publicly stripping you of plenipotentiary status.
## Lien: [[Living on Room Service]]
You've spent your life working on behalf of people you never see, people you're unlikely to ever meet in person. This separation has left its mark. You struggle to engage with those from your home [[Projects/Myriad/Holdings|Holding]]. If you go more than five minutes without interacting with someone outside your Holding, you become irritable and frustrated. After ten, you will make any excuse to get away, even if you know it will make your life harder in the long run.
