Goals:
1. Convince someone to accept a strange or nonsensical deal.
2. Help people find inspiration in unexpected places.
3. Argue that the temple should be left untouched.
You are Attaché Kaprow, the "Unreasonable." You like that nickname, though people often assume it's insulting. In fact, you work quite hard to be unreasonable, in the sense that you regard "reason" and "logic" with the utmost suspicion. In a galaxy where people can live millions of years, where Holdings yoke neutron stars and black holes to the plow, where entire worlds die in sacrifice to titanic space monsters, what kind of small-minded twit puts all their faith in *math*? No, you understand that the true nature of the galaxy is chaos, and that any attempt at regimentation is doomed.
There is more to you, though, than the voice of oddity incarnate. Your love of chaos and strangeness isn't just about being intentionally idiosyncratic. You believe, truly believe, that the galaxy is full of wonder and brilliant ideas, but that they get walled off, papered over by the constant refrain of "be reasonable." *Fuck* reasonable. Eat, drink, and make merry, for on the morrow we fight space worms. In ways large and small, grand and petty, you seek always to help others find the joy and inspiration you have found by letting go of the assumption they already have all the answers. This, of all [[Sha the Disciple|Sha the Disciple's]] teachings, is the one you hold most dear: Discovery Cannot Come from Knowledge, Only Ignorance.
You've come to the [[Council of Chains]] in service of that ideal. Not just for yourself, but because nine powerful Holdings will be in attendance. This is a golden opportunity for you to bring your particular way of thinking to a new audience - nine of them, in fact. You want to help them forget the things they think they know, and open the path to new learning. Of course, this will be impossible if they get all their preconceived notions reinforced by whatever's in the temple. Best keep it closed, if you can find a convincing argument.
## Asset: [[Good Looks and Propaganda]]
People like people they like to look at. You can almost always get a strong sense of local beauty standards by flipping to a weather station. Your ability to manipulate this fact is nearly mythical. By speaking to a Governor for a few minutes, you gain an insight into their Holding's aesthetic standards. Any time you participate in a [[Negotiation]] with that Holding, your side gains three advantages.
## Lien: [[Rule of Cool]]
Fashion certainly has its uses, but it means having to keep track of every shift, every quirk of culture. When another character calls something "cool," "interesting," or any similarly positive adjective, you have a deep-seated need to know exactly why, what they liked about it, and how various changes might impact their opinion. When denied this information, you become irritable and find it difficult to engage in any other topic for a time.
