Goals:
1. Prove to yourself and your people that you're more than just a thug.
2. Fight something big and scary, or at least in a big battle.
3. Try to cultivate an epic tale with yourself at the center.
You are Auxiliary Francés, the "Dramaturge." Many, fools all, would assume that someone with a military title like Auxiliary and a responsibility for their Holding's defense would be a dull, jackbooted thug. Some, fools, liars, and backbiters to a one, would even claim that's how things are "supposed" to be. Not so you. Of course not. No, you recognize that bearing the blade of defense and the shield of war is a duty, but *acting*? Acting is a calling. You fulfill your obligations, protecting your people and upholding their honor, but you find a lot of opportunities for grand speeches, wild escapades, and general derring-do. Who says you can't do both?
There is more to you, though, than a blade with a book of scribbles. In truth, you wouldn't give up being an Auxiliary for the world. Yes, a frustrating amount of your time is spent in meetings about orbital defenses and emergency preparedness, but that's a small price to pay for being able to use the military might of an entire Holding to pursue your artistic endeavors. Whether it's going to war so that you can get an epic tale of doomed last stands, monster-hunting in the void for "proactive defense," or otherwise living the life of a storybook warrior, no other artist could hope for such real, such visceral experiences.
You've come to the [[Council of Chains]] because all the ingredients are right. Ten Holdings, assembled by rumor and the promise of power. Dozens of the galaxy's most influential and powerful figures. A temple with a priceless treasure from a forgotten age. This is going to be a great time and place for last stands and big speeches. Of all [[Sha the Disciple|Sha's]] teachings, you love this best: It's All Opportunity, Baby. Though, in hindsight, you think she might have been drunk when she said that one.
## Asset: [[Close Quarters Chaos]]
You treat your body not as a temple, but as a tool for causing as much harm as possible. In Local, Regional, or Planetary [[Combat]] scenarios, you add one to your side's advantage total. You do not need the assistance of any other character to participate in non-Fleet Combat Scenarios. You are not considered vulnerable for purposes of the Asset [[Cohen's Legacy]].
## Lien: [[Sworn Sword]]
You have promised your service to your Governor, and to fail in that pursuit is to be remembered as a failure for the rest of time. Any time your Governor is in danger or subject to public attack, you feel compelled to spring to their aid. You don't necessarily have to attack anyone, or even speak up, but if you can't find some way to show your support, you become irritable and despondent for a time, believing yourself to be a failure.
