1. The Worlds of Myriad (15 minutes) 1. A short exposition followed by Q&A. 2. Meet your communities 1. Connections (25 minutes) 1. Everyone find a single person on their connections list and meet up. 2. You get 5 minutes to talk about your connection, share ideas on things you want to do/scenes you want to have/etc., and set up any dramatic twists or reveals. 3. When directed, find a new person on your list and repeat. 2. Affinity Groups (60 minutes) 1. Everyone is free to mingle in the kitchen & library and continue fleshing out connections. 2. One affinity group at a time is called into the theater, where they get a brief rundown on their affinity group and get the chance to talk about their ideas, goals, shared scenes, etc. 3. After 10 minutes, the group comes out to the library and each member briefly describes how their character behaves during the two days spent on the [[Orman Ziggurat]] before the [[Plague Council]]. 4. The next group is called back. 3. Combat, Negotiations, and Endeavors (15 minutes) 1. A brief rundown of the three systems and how they're used. 2. An explanation of when to involve the facilitator and when not to bother. 4. Safety (10 minutes) 1. How to safely engage in intense roleplay. 2. Characterization, decharacterization, and bleed. 3. Stepping Away, Tapping Out, and Calling Stop 1. Stepping Away: Simply leave the scene. 2. Tapping Out: Leave the scene out-of-character, but allow your mechanics to remain in effect with minimal input from your character. 3. Calling Stop: End a dangerous situation immediately by saying, out loud "Stop play."
