#### History
You moved to town last Christmas. You were traveling through and got snowed in, then fell in love with its magic. It took you about two months to get settled, finalize your affairs, and by then, the Christmas magic had been packed away in neat wooden crates until next year. [[H. Fezziwig (Mayor)]] was so welcoming and helped you find a place on main street with a beautiful view of town.
A few months after the town had returned to its unassuming façade, you decided, to-deck-the-halls with that. One Saturday, you just showed up to the [[M. Drossel (Toymaker)]]'s shop and started helping people complete their purchases. You came at all hours; anytime you saw that little light on in their workshop, you left your apartment and walked on over. You swept wood shavings. You doodled blueprints of their ideas while they talked. You laughed while pouring jelly into a water gun and the Toymaker laughed with you, and those were the moments that glimmered with the acceptance that you crave.
You've gone to meet [[Public Pages/Games/A Movie X-Mas/K. Marley (Banker)|K. Marley (Banker)]] a few times to get a sense of how things work, but they have an even less clear picture than you do of the town's finances. You've made excuses to see them every few weeks; and as the year went by, you discussed finances less and less and learned instead how they take their coffee order; how far away they live from their parents; and how they shuffle the papers on their desk when they're looking for something specific. All that disorder does pull you in. You're good at organizing things. But, you're not sure that they need help, or if they even see you.
It can be hard, at times. You didn't grow up with the folks here... yet you're no longer the newcomer that everyone wants to meet. You've been to visit [[Public Pages/Games/A Movie X-Mas/O. Nausse (Yuppie)|O. Nausse (Yuppie)]] a few times since they moved in with their relatives. They're a little odd - they've asked you more than once to explain your favorite Christmas activities - decorating the tree, drinking steaming cocoa, and hanging mistletoe. You can see the reflection of twinkle lights in their eyes as they listen - you remember the first time you saw it too. You find yourself daydreaming about their enthusiasm; even [[Public Pages/Games/A Movie X-Mas/M. Drossel (Toymaker)|M. Drossel (Toymaker)]] has caught you blushing, much to your embarrassment.
You know that there's a place where you will feel wanted, if you keep searching. Plus, you can tell that something is eating at your mentor these days. You never asked for a paycheck; they won't let you anywhere near the books. Turns out they've never even introduced themself to the [[P.S. Latte (Piemaker)]], which you find wild considering that they're basically neighbors. In a small town, it seems impossible to you that there are people here who have never spent time together.
