#### History
It's not always easy being professional in a town like this. Inevitably, someone brings homemade cookies and a hand-carved set of nesting dolls like the ones your grandmother kept on her mantel, and you're deferring a loan payment that you definitely shouldn't be and pretending that nothing is wrong. Additionally, you hate professionalism and pencil skirts make you feel cramped.
You honestly have no idea how [[P.S. Latte (Piemaker)]] and [[M. Drossel (Toymaker)]] manage to keep their passions alive while also running businesses - you would lose your hands if they weren't directly in your line of sight most of the time. You know that M. Drossel even took on an apprentice, [[D. Meyr (Assistant Toymaker)]]. They come to see you every now and again. You are always charmed by their visits. Sometimes they bring you your favorite coffee order; sometimes they ask about your family. You're always a little disappointed when the bank's bell rings and it's not them at the door, but you've never had time to think about what that hopeful feeling might mean.
You've thought more than a few times that taking on an assistant would help with some of your more hairbrained schemes... after all, it'd be a lot easier to remember everything if you had an extra set of hands to keep directly in your line of sight.
There are several people who might be interested in learning more about how to keep the lights on in a small town - especially when they learn just how often someone brings you fresh scones. [[N. Williams (Cousin)]] might be interested; or there's several new people in from the big city that you might be able to entice - you've heard [[W. Nysse (Yuppie)]] talk about college credits but never their degree of study and you saw a [[J.R. Sachs (CEO)]] walking downtown earlier with christmas lights practically shining in their eyes. If either wants to stay a while longer, you might be able to offer them a place to fit in, and one where no one has to sell the family recipe.
